Jamie walked up to us after watching us play a show and said “I want to record you guys.” He explained that he liked our sound and because he saw us play live he thinks he understands what we want. We immediately clicked because he’s cool but what’s great about working with Jamie is that when he is working he is working. He was very organized while recording and producing our album by keeping tabs of what instruments have already been recorded and what is left to record for each song. He was on top of us getting us back in the studio and organizing studio time which is very difficult when you’re working with a 5 member band and all members work full time. He has an ear for sound and gives great feedback when he’s recording you, things like, “that was a bit pitchy, do it again.” He’s not just there to collect your money and record music, he wants to make it sound good. Jamie even went as far as to share his ideas on how to promote our album and how to enter our music into playlists on Spotify. We’ve never had an issue with Jamie and everyone in the band respects him for his knowledge of music. HIGHLY recommended.”

“Jamie at JLS Audio is an amazingly talented audio engineer who cares as much about the quality of your product as you do. The first time I met Jamie in person, we sat down and had a discussion about the vision I had of my project with Lyrian XR and he totally got it, (which this project can be a little confusing in sone ways). He is great with attention to detail and really connects on the same spectrum I do when it comes to really capturing the sound of what I hear in my head and is able to bring that out in the final product. Each track I have recorded with Jamie has come out exactly how I pictured in my head before going in and actually recording it with Jamie. He makes me sound like ME every time he records my vocals. He is very consistent and he even connects with me outside the studio when working on something for us. He is the best engineer I have ever worked with by far. The mixing skills in this guy are incredible, the mastering is the best. Jamie is very professional.
